"Blue Winter" - Open Edition
A massive bighorn sheep rams rests on a ridge following a fresh snowfall in the foothills of Montana's Gallatin Range. Unlike moose, deer, and elk, bighorn sheep do not shed and grow new horns each year and a ram's horns are constantly growing over the course of his lifetime. Generally speaking, the bigger the horns, the older the ram.
